As Dave said, all men have a 100% chance of dying, so let us suppose Prof. Brody had found that men who had orgasms twice a week had half the chance of dying within the next year as those men who had orgasms once a month. Assuming the truth of this statement, can one then conclude that if one increases his frequency of orgasm, then he will live longer? Absolutely not. If you were to select, from a large population of men, those who have orgasms twice a week, (group A), and another group, (B), of those who had orgasms once a month, is it not most likely that the men of group A are younger and more healthy than those of group B? Then, is it not possible that it is the youth and health of these men that accounts for their greater longevity, rather than their frequency of orgasm?
The difficulty in designing a fair test of the hypothesis that more frequent orgasms convey greater longevity would be in finding a large number of healthy young men qualified for group B.

Sex in itself is simply great. Any kind of sex, be anal, oral or vaginal or even bestial. Heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual and whatever in between. All sex is great. Only the unplanned and unexpected consequences can be not so great. Physical, ethical, moral, spiritual, psychological and whatever else in between.

Regarding citations: the author of an article should not place the burden of proof on the reader if she wants regular readers! I came across this on “stumbleUpon” but I would not RSS or seek out a blog like this; there are enough credible sources out there that it’s a waste of time to read anything that is not sourced.
I actually get annoyed by how many blog writers do this, which is why I’m taking the time to comment.
